Zone Director doesn't allow Access Points to join

Summary

Zone director 3000 is not allowing any of the Access points to connect.

Question

Why ZD3k doesn't allow the APs to join

Customer Environment

ZD3k on 9.7.2 firmware. Downgraded to 9.6.2 and then upgraded back to 9.7.2 firmware.

Troubleshooting Steps

- ZD3k doesn't allow the APs to connect.
- Connected AP directly to the ethernet port of the Zone director with no help.
- Ran the "set director <ZD Ip> " command on Access points.
- Suspected the problem may be with image file on ZD.
- Downgraded the ZD back to previous firmware and then upgraded to same version.
- Now the APs provisioned the image configuration and connected to ZD.
